Ganges is the most sacred rivers in India originating from the Himalayas. Its many tributaries add to the volume of the river. It is also the safest river for white water rafting in India. The three commercial sections have a road back for safety. The combination of step and pool makes it the ideal river for rafting in India. In winter the river is deep blue in colour adding to the beauty and the charm. The hillsides are green with vegetation and life. The right bank of the river forms the boundary of Rajaji National Park.
Accommodation: Fully furnished tents with beds, mattress, pillow, line, sleeping bags. Our tents are 12 feet long with 4 feet sit out. Each tent has 2 Mudas, 4 large windows and a huge door that opens fully viewing the Ganges. (One of the large tents on the Ganges).
As the early Vedic beliefs became transformed into the religions we are aware of today, so Kailash has become the earthy avatar of Mount Meru.
